Photography
as ART
For centuries Photography with a capital P has been held to a different standard than other mechanical arts. My work aims to highlight this disparity, which is still part of our culture today, making you question the preconception of whether an image is valid as Art. I challenge you to see, really see, and question what you are seeing, how it was made, and the ethics of viewing. I explore the collapse of meaning in a post-post modern sense. Often dealing with photo manipulation and creative techniques to achieve my results.
